Project background:

Under the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM) new grant, HLFPPT as Sub recipient along with Family Health India and Public Health Foundation of India as Sub sub-Recipients are implementing the Capacity Building project with NACO as the Principal Recipient. One of the key staff (Associate Consultant, Capacity Building) will be hired by FH India.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Consultant Capacity Building and CB Hub in planning, monitoring and rollout of the training programs for the NACP workforce at all levels.
  • Managing the database of Master Trainers, in collaboration with Consultant Capacity Building and IT Support Officer.
  • Periodically evaluate the training outcomes and take mid-course corrections.
  • Support CB Hub and ensure extensive collaboration with the NACO’s existing capacity building division and partners.
  • Ensure close Coordination and collaboration with other capacity building efforts
  • Support the Program Division in leveraging existing government training infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and other resources of NIHFW, Regional Training Institutes and SIHFWs and DHRCs to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Document minutes of meeting conducted in CB Hub.
  • Travel to project sites for periodic monitoring onsite hand holding and report submission on the trainings that are being conducted.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualification and Work experience  

  • Masters’ degree in Social Sciences/ MSW/ MPH.
  • 5 years of experience in public health programs.
  • Experience in HIV/AIDS and capacity building domain will be preferred

  • Skills as a trainer and process facilitator
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English & Hindi.

  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise works and activities.
  • IT Skills – relevant to the post

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation levels at FH India are equivalent to market rates within the development sector. However, offers shall be based on salary history, relevant experience, qualification and budgetary provisions under project.
