Creating a pool of Master Trainers
The project will develop a pool of 100 (hundred) Master Trainers, who are predominantly from the NACP workforce to sustain their continued engagement in NACO-hosted training courses beyond the project life.

100 master trainers are divided in to two parts, i.e., 70 MTs for program manager’s module and 30 for bridge population TI training.
The Project will conduct a national level Training of Trainers (ToT) Courses for master trainers, which includes one induction 4 days residential classroom training and online Refresher training in next consecutive financial year.
Selection of Master Trainers: Master trainers are selected three steps:
a) CB hub selected tentative MT list in consultation with different state teams
b) Selected MT are identified from the state (SACS) nominated list
c) Final list prepared in consultation with NACO and Consortium
The master trainers are to be trained by the subject matter specialist of NACO, for example, DDG and Deputy Directors / National Consultants of the concerned divisions are the facilitators of MT training sessions. External experts and /Development partners are also being part of MT training for
motivation and up-gradation of skills.

1) Introduction & NACP structure
2) Key Program Elements {IEC, STI/RTI, TI, Counselling & Testing; Care, Support & Treatment; Lab Services}
3) Supporting Components {SIMU, Mainstreaming & Partnerships; HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Bill/Act, Community System Strengthening (CSS)}
4) Enabling Pillars {Administration; Procurement; Supply Chain Management; Human Resource; Finance Systems; Role of Partners/Donors/CSOs; Review & Supervisory Systems}

The PMU and CB Hub will organize 04 days residential Training of Trainers (ToT) of Master Trainers and extend support in facilitation and observation of sessions.
