Training Needs Assessment (TNA) of the NACP Workforce
The project has conducted a training needs assessment and task analysis of the NACP workforce, which in turn will inform the need for customizing existing training modules; and/or developing need based new learning materials.
Sample Size for TNA:
As per the National AIDS Control Program (NACP) Categorization of Indian States/UTs, all the States in the country are divided into Four Categories
(Category I, II, III and IV).
Category – I has 11 States,
Category – II has 07 States,
Category – III has 12 States, and
Category – IV has 07 States.

Implementation strategy of TNA:
The implementation plan for conducting the TNA and Task Analysis of the NACP workforce:
1) Qualitative and Quantitative responses using Questionnaire (administered by email and/or Online Applications).
2) Feedback analysed, based on broad thematic areas.
3) Assessment of Training needs based on feedback of interviewees.
4) Identify gaps in knowledge/areas of priority.
5) Capacity building and improved program service delivery.
6) Documentation and dissemination of findings.
